One Year Ago

One year ago.... this adorable baby swept into my heart and took possession of it.

And now, a year later, he has still not given it back. Not even a teensy weensy tiny little piece of it.

Isn't that a rotten thing to do to a mother?

Happy Birthday Sam. I love you more than you can possibly know.

Andrew recently went into the bathroom and nearby Lizzy and I listened to him start emphatically making bird calls and hooting like an owl. When he came out we were giggling and ask him what was going on in there. He explained that he saw an earwig and his birdcalls were to scare it away.

"Mom, what was he spelling?" - Lizzy whispering to me during a movie where the character said he needed to do something A.S.A.P.
