Their sibling gifts were the highlight of the day. So much fun that they were so excited to give to each other.

Lizzy and the Piano
I adore Lizzy's sweet new piano teacher. She's so young you maybe can't tell which one is the teacher. :) Lizzy has suddenly taken off and is playing stuff she loves and sits at the piano to play all the time... even if she's already practiced for the day. Wow. I think piano is definitely in her future.
Thanksgiving Visitors and SNOW!!!
I'm blogging about this one several months after it happened and looking back and remembering that our Thanksgiving was perfect. Totally perfect. Relaxing with family, watching Grayson fall in love with Grandpa, good food, playing outside, the rope swing, making a homemade wreath, freezing down on the beach. Everything was awesome and just when we thought it couldn't get better. It snowed. Some of us haven't seen snow for many years. Sam in particular was hilarious - having not really ever seeing snow. He just yelled over and over "It's snowing!!!" His face was just total amazement which made it amazing for all of us all over again.
Grayson really wanted to be by Grandpa the whole time. No breaks for Granps. It was such fun.
