This season Lizzy decided to try something new for all of us. She opted to play basketball. This season was a perfect example of the importance of stickin' with it. After the first practice Lizzy wasn't sure that she liked it. But after the first game... she was hooked. She played with all her energy and got to be pretty darn good. I have to admit that basketball is probably my favorite sport to watch so I had a lot of fun at the games this season. Her team managed to squeak by as undefeated, which Lizzy loved. She almost decided to skip our trip to SeaWorld because she didn't want to miss her last game.

Go Lakers!!! We will definitely be doing basketball again. We're so proud of Lizzy and her willingness to try new things and work at it. She really did work hard this season and saw 100% improvement. Watching your kids develop skills and then feel proud of themselves is one of the great joys of parenthood.
