Lizzy's baptism was such a neat day for all of us. In the LDS church, age 8 is the youngest age at which a child is felt to be old enough to understand the important commitments and covenants of baptism. We felt so grateful to have both sets of grandparents there as well as Lizzy's uncle and many of our good friends. Lizzy amazes me with her capacity to understand and her desire to be obedient. The whole thing was a beautiful event.
I failed to take pictures of our little get together afterward. We had oodles of friends and family come to our home to celebrate and enjoy some good food with us. Aaron broke in his new smoker with some smoked pork. It ended up being AMAZING.
