We were so excited to be heading back and seeing Daddy again, but as the plane actually lifted off the ground, Lizzy looked at the ground below and burst into tears. I asked what was wrong and she said... "I miss Grandma." These are a few of my favorite pictures of the kids with their Grandmas'.
Lizzy had so much fun digging through Grandma Brown's cedar chest. This is her wearing Grandma's wedding veil. Grandma then got out some wedding albums and showed her a picture of her at her wedding reception. Lizzy just laughed when Nancy pointed to a picture and said, "that's me.... and that's Grandpa." It took both of us to convince her that we weren't teasing.
During the trip, both of the kids spent many hours with Grandma Goodrich in this chair.
Her stories are always so much better than mine.
Thank you Grandma Brown and Grandma Goodrich. We love you.

Grandmas are the best! I swear my mom never treated me as good as she treats her grandkids!
Nothing better than grandmas, thank goodness we are blessed to have them and know how good life can be when we are loved by them!
That's so cool you got to come home without the financial burden of it all. You guys looked like you had a ton of fun. And yes- Grandmas Rule.
